Morgan Strohmann
President
Morgan first volunteered with the GFI in 2019, later joining the board in 2021 and becoming President in 2023. He’s proud to help guide the tournament’s operations and work alongside the dedicated volunteers and partners who make the GFI a highlight of the Grand Forks community each summer.
James Wilson
Vice President
James has been playing and watching baseball since he was a child. He has been involved with the GFI through different sponsorships and began volunteering in 2018. In 2023, James joined the board of directors and now oversees the ground crew and park maintenance.
Chris Hammett
Treasurer
Chris joined the army of GFI volunteers as official photographer shortly after arriving in Grand Forks in 2004. She joined the board in 2016 and has been the treasurer since then. Her responsibilities also include GFI marketing, sponsorships, the tournament program, front gate and Guest Services.
Becky Cheveldave
Secretary
This is Becki’s second year on the board and she gracefully accepted the role of secretary once again. Becki’s creative ideas and enthusiasm are welcomed by the board.
Shelly Ehbrecht
Director
Shelly, a retired maternity nurse, moved to Grand Forks in 2020 and began volunteering at the GFI in 2022. She joined the board in 2023 and is co-lead for the front gate and Guest Services.
Alyce Tod
Director
Originally from New Zealand, Alyce moved to Grand Forks in 2015. She began volunteering for the GFI in 2019, joined the board in 2023, and is now the team lead for the Hardball Café and the Right Field Tavern.
Donna Olson
Director
Donna has volunteered for the GFI in Guest Relations, scorekeeping, 50/50., and cash office since returning to Grand Forks in 2008. She and her husband even billeted a couple of Team Russia players. She is a first year board member and is Cash Office team lead this year.
Jeannette Stooshinoff
Director
Jeannette moved to Grand Forks in early 2023 and started volunteering at GFI that summer. She became a board member in 2024 and has now taken on the role of Team Lead for the Hard Ball Café. Jeannette loves being a part of such an awesome event.

Tori Stavenjord
Director
Tori has been around the tournament for most of her life, attending as a kid and volunteering as soon as she was old enough. After moving back to town in 2022, she jumped back in at the Hard Ball Cafe and joined the board this year. She’s excited to be part of an event that brings so much fun and energy to the community.
Alex Campbell

Steve Boutang
Tournament Coordinator – Baseball
Steve has been a director, the GFI president, and an active umpire, having been involved with the GFI since 2001. He looks after recruiting the teams, the umpires, scheduling the games and some media liaison work.
